I caught myself doing it again, just last weekend.
At first I didn’t recognize it. But it wasn’t long before I was feeling it in my body and had the awareness that I was living without intention.
That morning, I had slipped into my old habit of jumping in feet first into anything and everything calling my attention without easing into the day.
An ideal morning for me consists of meditation, writing in my Five Minute Journal and doing some inspirational reading.
My ideal morning doesn’t take lots of time but definitely determines the feel of my day.
Keep in mind my ideal morning looks like this. Yours could look totally different.
Some days require more effort than others to make an intentional morning work but the benefits are invaluable to me.
What is a Five Minute Journal?
The Five Minute Journal is part gratitude journal, part intention setting and a whole lot of positivity!
It’s been a game changer in the way that I look at my life and everything around me.
Many small shifts have created big impact in my life.
I am in a different place than I was just a few years ago.
I’ve had ups and downs along the way. Days where everything was flowing along perfectly and days where living with intention was the last thing I wanted to do.
But what I know for sure is my days run smoother when I am living with intention. Simple as that!
